Hand-colored with watercolor, with unique coloring done by hand by Andy Warhol himself.

Plate-signed in the middle.

Dimensions:
+ Size of the cover: 21 x 27 cm / 8,2 x 10,6 in.

Condition: In fair condition, with some notable stains, several scratches, and defects on the cover. The corners are slightly damaged. Some remains of a label on the back.

Cover of Andy Warhol’s "In the Bottom of My Garden" illustrated book, portraying fairies and putti frolicking in a garden. It is one of his early works into bookmaking with offset lithography in the 1950s.

This is the original first printing done in 1956, from the edition of unknown size.

Couverture du livre illustré "In the Bottom of My Garden" d’Andy Warhol, dépeignant des fées et des putti gambadant dans un jardin. Il s'agit de l’une de ses premières expérimentations dans la création d'ouvrages avec la lithographie offset dans les années 1950.

C’est la première impression originale faite en 1956, issue d'une édition de taille inconnue.
