A rare colourvariation of this more than 60 years old etching. In the regular edition the vertical "pillar"to the left is printed in blue and the motive to the right in red. On this trial proof (provenance the studio of the printer Giorgio Upiglio) the left "pillar" is printed in redish nuances and the motive to the right is printed in in black-bluish-lilla nucances. Probably the only known copy in these colours. Signed in pencil.
Printed on large Umbria paper with some handlingcreases in the margins, a 10 mm backed tear in the left vertical paperedge, a little paperlos in the lower left corner and several finergprints in the margins recto and verso - probably those of the printer or the artist
