The impression presented here is an early state, apparently unknown till now, before completion of the hatched area in the lower part of the foreground. The total lack of any handwritten indication, makes me think that this is an artist's proof. The impression, richly inked, is printed on wove paper, with small margins. It is pasted on the top corners to a light cardboard. It is lightly foxed.
