Hanasakaji San (The Old Man Who Made Trees Blossom) - A story of kindness rewarded through nature’s magic.

This gentle fable celebrates the moral triumph of generosity. An old man’s compassion for his dog leads to miraculous blossoms blooming on dead trees. Dalí captures this miracle with floral and geometric symbolism: blooming forms emerge from barren ground, rendered with lyrical rhythm and radiant hues. The composition reflects both the Japanese aesthetic of impermanence (mono no aware) and Dalí’s own interest in transformation — an act of kindness as alchemy turning death into life.
