Tirage : 220 exemplaires tous imprimés et numérotés sur vélin d'Arches et signés au crayon par Pierre Reverdy (n° 15 des 40 de tête).
Conçu dès 1920 par le poète et le peintre et soutenu par Léonce Rosenberg, le projet d'édition sera interrompu par l'inaction du marchand d'art puis la disparition de Juan Gris en 1927. C'est finalement Tériade qui reprendra le manuscrit complet de Reverdy, 20 poèmes illustrés de 11 lithographies en couleurs reprenant au plus près les compositions originales du peintre cubiste.

Reports de texte prononcés en fin d'ouvrage. Le livre en excellente condition, faible décoloration de l'étui.
Rarissime avec suite des lithographies, un nombre important d'exemplaires ayant été démembrés.

Edition: 220 copies all printed and numbered on Arches paper with watermark and signed in pencil by Pierre Reverdy (n° 15 of the first 40).
Conceived in 1920 by the poet and the painter and supported by Léonce Rosenberg, the publishing project was interrupted by the inaction of the art dealer and then the disappearance of Juan Gris in 1927. It was finally Tériade who took over the complete manuscript de Reverdy, 20 poems illustrated with 11 color lithographs reproducing as closely as possible the original compositions of the cubist painter.
