Part of the long series of tributes Miró dedicated to Joan Prats, a key figure of the Catalan avant-garde, close friend and decisive supporter of Miró, Calder, Dalí and Picasso. Miró expresses their intellectual and human bond in a free, introspective graphic language where abstract forms seem to rise from memory and the unconscious. As Miró said: "I always feel the need to achieve maximum intensity with a minimum of means."
