1914. Linocut on thin yellow-brown wove paper, 17.2 x 15 cm (plate), 30.1 x 24.1 cm (sheet). Inscribed by the artist with ‘Probedruck, Handdruck’ (trial proof, hand print) and signed ‘Lu(dwi)g Wachlmeier Paris’. Later signed and dated again by the artist in pencil, this time with the assumed artist name ‘WACH 1914’ and titled ‘Café de la Rotonde’ at the bottom sheet margin.
