In Kandinsky's contribution to the 1938 celestial suite, he created two monumental abstract visions: Comètes (Comets), set against the absolute pitch dark of the universe, and Étoiles (Stars), evoking the radiant organic structure of the Andromeda Galaxy. A prime example of Kandinsky's Parisian period, seamlessly blending geometric structure with fluid, amoebic forms.
An exceptional museum-grade acquisition for collectors of early 20th-century Avant-Garde graphics and original lifetime printmaking history.
Guaranteed authentic original lifetime lithograph.
